Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus have to die? Can I really trust the Bible? Why would a good God allow evil and suffering? If you find yourself wrestling with questions like these or other questions surrounding the Christian faith, know that you’re not alone. Our hope at Sojourn J-Town is that we have created a safe and welcoming space for you to come and wrestle with your faith and ask hard questions.
Alpha Class
SPRING & FALL, 11 am
We would love for you to join us for Alpha! This course is designed to create a space for honest conversations about life, faith, and meaning. During our time, we share food together, listen to a short talk on some aspect of the Christian faith, and then have time to discuss our honest thoughts and opinions. Anyone and any question is welcome.
What is the Gospel?
The Gospel is the good news that life with God is available through the work of Jesus. In love, God created all of humanity to have a relationship with him, yet sin has separated us from that love. God, being a just God, had to punish sin, and we experience that punishment through the sin and brokenness we experience in this life. That is why the gospel is such good news.
All you have to do to be a Christian is turn from your self-reliance and self-making and put your trust in Jesus as the Savior and King of your life.
